You, along with other hams, are called upon to assist public safety dispatch (911) after a a construction accident took out a major fiber cluster, cutting off the 911 dispatch system.
You are asked to deploy to the 911 center and relay traffic to the police, fire and ambulance crews as well as the local hospital.
In cooperation with the dispatchers, you will also be expected to add amateur radio to their ICS205 for this incident.

Download IWW ICS205 2026-05-23 04_58.csv and add at least 2 lines, such as repeater and simplex to the form, which will become your submission for this net exercise.

• Find and open the CSV file by double clicking it. It should open as a spreadsheet.
• Copy rows 2-4 into your clipboard.

Start a new message and select Standard Templates > ICS USA Forms > ICS205 Radio Plan.
Click Setup and enter Central City Public Service

1. Enter Fiber outage
2. Click and accept the date/time
3. Date from: 2026-05-30
   
Date To: 2026-05-31
Time From: 04:00
Time To: 12:00
4. Find and open the CSV file by double clicking it.
   Copy rows 2-4 into your clipboard.
   Click Paste Channel Data from a Spreadsheet
   Paste the data in the clipboard into the popped up window, then click Parse Date and OK it.
5. In Special Instructions:, enter your
   call sign, first name, city or town, county, state, mode (Winlink HF, VARA FM, VHF packet, etc.)
   2 letter, upper case state abbreviation and no parentheses, please.
   Example: WB0GAG, Bruce, Muscatine, Muscatine, IA, VARA HF
6. Enter Hazel Knox
   Click and accept the date/time
   Enter 6
   leave Attach CSV data file to message? No

Save a copy for later if you wish, review your message, then click Submit and set "Subject:" to "Iowa Winlink Weekend".
